The Olympic Games
This year, Barcelona Montessori School’s Summer Camp theme will be Go for Gold!
Inspired by the Olympic Games, children aged 3 to 12 will enjoy four weeks of sports, play, and collaborative challenges designed to promote teamwork, creativity, inclusion, and fun.
Throughout the camp, children will enter the magical world of Luminaris:
Younger children will become explorers, travelling through different territories to follow clues and find the Olympic Torch.
Older children will help restore the values that keep Luminaris in balance: peace, inclusion, sustainability, communication, creativity, and cooperation.
Through engaging activities, children will explore Olympic values while developing solidarity, respect, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging within their group and environment.
Activities will take place in the school’s three main languages: Catalan, Spanish and English.

Educational Program
The theme of the Olympic Games is a playful, creative, and participatory way to put into practice the values and objectives of Fundesplai’s new educational proposal, “Amb veu i en Peu,” for the 2025–2027 school years.
The aim is to give children a voice, promote inclusion, creativity, cooperation, and social transformation—all while playing and enjoying themselves.
As we know, the Olympic Games, since their origin, have sought to be a celebration of peace, coexistence, and the coming together of diverse peoples—values that are also present in Fundesplai’s proposal.
Objectives
Promote solidarity, effort, and respect through sport and play.
Bring Olympic culture and its values closer to children and young people.
Encourage cooperation, active participation, and teamwork.
Promote fun and experiential learning.
Create a pleasant, safe, and healthy environment for coexistence.
Strengthen the sense of belonging to the group and the connection with the environment and nature.
