Fem Pinya, Fem Festa Major!

The summer camp will be an experience full of joy, fun, games, and traditions!

We will live the Festa Major with all its multiple cultural expressions: art, painting, music, traditions, dances, gastronomy and celebration… A handful of proposals to enjoy, express emotions, and bring culture closer to real or imaginary settings.

We propose to delve into popular culture, dances, traditional games and much more through exciting elements and a captivating story, where children will discover tools to unleash their creativity, imagination, and curiosity.

This year, the summer camp is a part of “Estima”, the proposal by Fundesplai that presents the challenge of getting to know ourselves better, developing inner strength, and fostering respect and affection towards ourselves and others.

Throughout this year, we have also focused on working on the value of gratitude and have learned to appreciate the things others do for us.

Methodology.

How do we do it?

We understand education in free time as a space-time where children and adolescents are the protagonists. Each individual becomes a fantastic, wonderful, and unique being. The adult is another reference, accompanying and foresting the well-being and autonomous development of the children's. Thus, we approach the child in their entirety and offer you a participatory and integrative methodology. We understand children’s and youth participation as a right enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, 1939, as a participation in ongoing relationship with adults and a process of mutual learning.

With this project, children will have the opportunity to rethink, recreate, and transform the traditions around them to cerate new ones that represents them and make them feel part of it. A project that helps develop autonomy in spaces of coexistence and values the strength of belonging.

Fem Pinya, Fem Festa Major!

How do we do it?

This summer, through the Festa Major as a thematic axis, we will organise a summer camp built from a collective perspective, which will create a downward spiral of positive feelings that, in turn, will generate more in the world.

The Summer Camp will become a great square where each week we will discover activities and elements related to Catalan popular culture (games, dances ...) and experience the traditions that surround the Festa Major:
